Marc Tarpenning

Marc Tarpenning is a Venture Partner at Spero Ventures. Marc has also served as a mentor at Greenstart, advising early stage and expanding cleantech companies on business model and strategy. In addition, they were a trustee at Woodside Elementary School District from December 2009 to December 2018.

Tarpenning's previous work experience includes stints at Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology, Clearpath Robotics, Innovate Public Schools, The Nueva School, and SkyDeck | Berkeley. Marc also served on the San Mateo County Committee on School District Organization from October 2013 to November 2018.

Tarpenning has a long history of involvement in the education sector, including as a trustee at Woodside Elementary School District and as a member of the San Mateo County Committee on School District Organization.
