Jono Watkins

Jono Watkins is a System Integration Engineer and Research and Development Engineer at Sperry Rail Inc., where responsibilities include assisting in the development of new pedestrian technologies. Previous roles at Sperry Rail include Production and Aftersales Manager, overseeing day-to-day operations and key performance indicators, as well as managing the movement of rail flaw detection assets as an Asset Management and Aftersales Co-ordinator. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Production Technician for rail flaw detection technologies and Assistant Instructor at East Midlands Kickboxing, providing support in class instruction. Jono Watkins began a career in the automotive sector at Luffield Cars, where roles included Service Technician and Customer Service Representative, complemented by an apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Currently pursuing a BTEC Level 3 in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering at Derby College, Jono has a strong educational foundation with GCSE qualifications from Hind Leys Community College.
