Claudio D'Angelo

Claudio D'Angelo has a diverse work experience spanning various positions and companies. Claudio is currently the Founder and CEO of Spex Capital, a role they took on in April 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member and Investment Director at LiveSmart from November 2022 to February 2023, and as a Board Observer from June 2021 to November 2022. Claudio was also a CW Innovation Advisory Board Member at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust starting from August 2020. Claudio served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at J-INVEST S.P.A. from September 2018 onwards. Claudio was the Managing Partner at RYSE Asset Management LLP from January 2015 to January 2021. Claudio held the position of Director at Gauss Investments Ltd from December 2009 to August 2014. And, prior to that, they were a Managing Director at BNP Paribas from October 2005 to October 2009, where they headed Institutional Sales to Europe and the Middle East for Equity Flow, Delta 1, and Financing Derivatives. Claudio began their career as an Executive Director at Lehman Brothers, where they worked from May 2000 to October 2005.

Claudio D'Angelo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 1991 to 1995. In 1998, they attended INSEAD to complete an Executive Programme in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law.
