Chris Howell is a Sustainability Consultant at Sphera since March 2021, focusing on the sales, management, delivery, and quality assurance of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) projects, as well as developing advanced LCA models using Sphera’s LCA FE software. Previously, Chris served as an Associate Sustainability Consultant, also at Sphera, and conducted a significant sustainability consultancy project for Northern Gas Networks, which involved quantifying scope 3 tCO2e emissions for major capital projects. Chris’s experience also includes a short-term consultancy at O'Connor Utilities Ltd to update tender documentation on environmental legislation and commitments, and a role as a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor on a gas pipeline project. Additionally, Chris has experience in recruitment for embedded software developers and started a research career as an undergraduate at Nottingham Trent University, focusing on freshwater macro-invertebrates. Chris holds a Master's degree in Sustainability and Consultancy from the University of Leeds and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Nottingham Trent University.
