Claire Cox has a wealth of experience in marketing, sales, and research. In 2008, they began their career as a Research Assistant at the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. Claire then went on to pursue a PhD at the University of Cambridge, where they examined the link between Sin3A and epidermal homeostasis. In 2012, they became a Research Associate at the Wellcome Trust MRC Stem Cell Institute, and in 2013 they became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the BC Cancer Agency. In 2014, they joined Axol Bioscience Ltd. as a Marketing Manager, Scientific Marketing Specialist, Scientific Marketing Coordinator, and Marketing Assistant. In 2016, they moved to LGC - Genomics Division as a Regional Marketing Manager for APAC and a Regional Marketing Executive for EMEA. In 2018, they became an EMEA marketing manager at Abcam, and in 2020 they joined Amgen as an Omnichannel Customer Engagement Manager and Multichannel Marketing Lead. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as Global Marketing Director at Sphere Fluidics Limited.
Claire Cox obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biological Science with Industrial Experience from The University of Manchester between 2004 and 2008. Claire then went on to receive a Ph.D in Stem Cell Biology and CPGS Natural Science from the University of Cambridge between 2008 and 2013. In 2014, they completed a CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing from Cambridge Marketing College. In April 2020, they obtained an ABM Certification: Foundations from Demandbase.
