Chris McCormick has worked in a variety of roles in the education field since 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they were a Fifth Grade Teacher and Kindergarten Teacher at St. John de la Salle Catholic Academy. In 2014, they joined eSpark Learning as an Associate Learning Designer, later becoming a Senior Curriculum Developer and Principal Curriculum Designer. In 2021, they were a Consultant: Assessment Specialist at Discovery Education. Currently, they are a Data Analyst at MONARCH MONTESSORI OF DENVER CHARTER SCHOOL and a Content Manager at Sphero.
Chris McCormick has a diverse educational background. Chris obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theirtory & African Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2009, followed by a Master's degree from Northwestern University in Education and Social Policy in 2013. In 2022, they began pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications, including a How to Clean Data with Python Course from Codecademy, Google Data Analytics from Google, Automate the Boring Stuff with Python Programming from Udemy, and Teacher Leadership from Accelerate Institute.
