Nate Ubowski

Nate Ubowski has a diverse work experience in the field of education technology and product management. Nate currently serves as a Senior Product Manager at Sphero since April 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Product Manager at the same company from April 2022 to April 2023. Nate also worked as a Sr. Manager of Education Content & Professional Development at Sphero, where they developed global competition initiatives, created educational content, and provided sales enablement trainings from April 2021 to April 2022. Before joining Sphero, Nate was a self-employed Educational Technology Specialist from March 2014 to April 2022. Nate also worked as a Computer Science Principles Facilitator at Code.org, where they supported and trained high school teachers in implementing the Code.org curriculum from July 2017 to March 2019. Additionally, Nate has experience as a STEM educator and English teacher at Littleton Public Schools from January 2012 to January 2019. Overall, Nate has extensive expertise in education technology, product management, curriculum development, and professional development facilitation.

Nate Ubowski earned their Bachelor's Degree in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2011. Nate further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature/Letters; Secondary Education in 2011 as well. Nate then attended the University of Colorado Denver from 2014 to 2017 to obtain their Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology.

In addition to their academic achievements, Nate also holds several certifications. In April 2014, they obtained the Colorado Professional Teacher License from the Colorado Department of Education. Nate became a Google for Education Certified Trainer in June 2015 and a Google For Education Certified Innovator in February 2016. Nate also achieved Apple Teacher certification in May 2016 and Raspberry Pi Certified Educator certification in December 2016. Lastly, they obtained the Google Certified Educator Level 2 certification in August 2014.
