Thomas O'Rourke

Thomas O'Rourke has extensive work experience in the chemical manufacturing industry. Thomas is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at SPI Pharma since 2021. Prior to this, Thomas worked at BASF for a long tenure of 30 years, holding various leadership positions. These roles include Vice President of Site EHS Services from 2010 to 2016, Vice President of Production Operations from 2006 to 2010, Director of Operations from 2001 to 2006, Site General Manager from 1997 to 2001, Site Manager in 1997, Manufacturing Manager from 1994 to 1996, and Group Quality Manager from 1991 to 1994.

Thomas O'Rourke has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Thomas also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management from Rider University. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt certifications from BASF, in April 2017 and March 2018 respectively.
