Anthony Abate

Anthony Abate has a diverse work experience. Anthony currently works at SpiderRock as the Manager of DevOps since February 2023. Prior to that, they were the DevOps Lead Engineer from August 2022 to February 2023, and the Lead Systems Engineer from June 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining SpiderRock, Anthony worked at CME Group for a significant period of time. Anthony held various roles including Lead System Engineer from January 2019 to May 2021, Sr. Platform Engineer from February 2018 to January 2019, and Sr. System Monitoring Engineer from January 2013 to January 2019. Anthony also served as an intern at CME Group from June 2010 to December 2012.

During their time at CME Group, Anthony gained expertise in monitoring system and network devices using tools such as Corvil, Splunk, HP Network Node Manager, and HP Network Automation. Anthony was the primary subject matter expert of Asset Discovery using BMC Discovery (ADDM). Additionally, they have experience in packet capture troubleshooting, network and application latency analysis, and front-end and back-end development using Node.js. Anthony also utilized scripting languages like Python and Perl to automate reports and scheduling tasks.

Anthony Abate attended DePaul University starting in 2010 with a focus on Computer Science. Anthony did not complete a specific degree at this institution. Additionally, in December 2015, Anthony obtained a certification as a Corvil Certified Performance Management Expert from the institution Corvil.
