Mustufa Amin

Mustufa Amin has a strong background in software engineering and leadership roles. Mustufa is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at spiderSilk since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Platform Engineering Lead at Callsign from November 2020 to January 2022. Before that, they were an Engineering Manager at Careem from September 2019 to November 2020, and a Senior Software Engineer at Careem from July 2016 to September 2019. Mustufa also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Venture Dive from February 2015 to June 2016. In addition, they worked as a Programming Analyst in the Core Engineering JAVA group at Arpatech from September 2013 to February 2015. Before that, they served as the Manager of Electronic Channel Technology Group at Tameer Micro Finance Bank from January 2013 to September 2013. Mustufa's career began as a Software Developer at Rayyanco Business System from March 2009 to December 2012, where they also led a team in developing applications for Ingenico POS terminals and worked on web applications and ISO8583-based financial transactions.

Mustufa Amin completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University between the years 2005 and 2009. Mustufa then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Software Engineering with a specialization in Software Project Management (SPM) from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, which they successfully obtained from 2011 to 2013.
