Rami El Malak

Rami El Malak has extensive experience in the business and technology sectors. Rami began their career in 1996 as Business Development Manager for Group Technology Canada, where they co-founded and developed the company into the winner of the 1998 MIM golden award for best Web solution of the year. In 1999, they founded Magna Media, one of the UAE's leading new media agencies, which was successfully acquired in 2006 by a private equity firm. In 2006, they became Director of Strategic Development for Al Ghussein Global Investments (AGI), where they qualified new investments and deployment of funding in various sectors. In 2007, they co-invested and setup the first West Coast Customs (WCC) production facility outside California as Co-owner and Managing Director of WCC ME. In 2008, they founded SUOMI and secured exclusive a GCC-wide Nokia mobile advertising deal. From 2009-2019, they were Co-Founder of FIVE Pillars Advisory, providing strategic and operational consulting to North American and European companies seeking growth opportunities in the MENA. Most recently, they have served as Chief Executive Officer of spiderSilk since 2019.

Rami El Malak has a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance & International Business from McGill University, a Digital Media degree from Collège LaSalle, Montréal, and a French Baccalaureate in Math and Physics from Lycée Français Bonaparte de Doha. In addition, they have a Content Marketing Foundations certification from LinkedIn obtained in December 2018.
