Michelle Masson

Michelle Masson has a diverse work experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs. Michelle is currently working as a Quality Assurance Manager at Spiderwort Inc. since February 2022.

Before that, Michelle worked at GlobalMed Inc. from April 2019 to February 2022 as a Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs Manager. In this role, they were responsible for implementing and maintaining an effective Quality Management System compliant with regulatory requirements. Michelle also directed quality programs and managed external audits to ensure product quality and reliability.

Prior to their role at GlobalMed Inc., Michelle worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Kavo Kerr (Beavers Dental) from January 2015 to April 2019. Michelle was responsible for implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System compliant with regulatory requirements. Michelle also coordinated and directed quality programs and prepared reports and trend analyses.

Michelle also has experience as a Quality Systems Specialist - Vendor Qualification at Trillium Health Care Products from January 2013 to November 2013. In this role, they performed vendor GMP audits and maintained the approved vendor database.

Earlier in their career, Michelle worked at Abbott Nutrition from 1999 to 2013. Michelle served as a Quality Assurance Supervisor - Vendor QA from January 2006 to January 2013, where they performed supplier audits and qualified new ingredients. Michelle also worked as a Quality Assurance Coordinator and Process Chemist from April 1999 to January 2006, where they performed raw ingredient and packaging assessments, assisted in training new laboratory employees, and designed and validated spreadsheets for calculations.

Michelle Masson earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Guelph, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Certified Quality Auditor from ASQ in June 2005.
