Carsten Schemmel

Carsten Schemmel currently serves as the Head of M&A and a Member of the Management Board at SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa since November 2019, focusing on accelerating the company's growth strategy through SME acquisitions. Prior to this role, Carsten was the Managing Director at Tofino GmbH, where a successful M&A mandate raised €10 million in growth financing for a software company. With extensive experience in equity capital management and business development, Carsten held key positions at ECM Equity Capital Management as a Partner, and at ovivo.com as the Head of Marketing and Business Development. Carsten's career also includes consulting at A.T. Kearney and a sabbatical in 2018. Educationally, Carsten holds a Dipl. Kfm. in Business Administration and Management from Technische Universität Berlin, along with studies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Universität Passau.
