Nelufar Mohajeri

Nelufar Mohajeri's work experience includes serving as the Director of Membership and Community Development at SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Partner at The Vela Group LLC starting in November 2018. From February 2018 to August 2021, they held the position of Managing Director at Concept to Reality Consulting LLC. Before that, they were the Senior Director of Global Stakeholder Engagement at US Pharmacopeia from May 2014 to December 2017. Nelufar also worked as the Director of Global Alliances at U.S. Pharmacopeia from February 2012 to May 2014 and as the Director of Volunteer Affairs and Compendial Initiatives from November 2008 to February 2012 at U.S. Pharmacopia. Nelufar'searliest work experience includes being the Manager of Industry Relations at the American Chemical Society from October 2000 to November 2008.

Nelufar Mohajeri completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Virginia from 1985 to 1989. Nelufar then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from The George Washington University, attending from 1996 to 1998. In 1997, they also received a MA Certificate in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford.
