Hunter B.

Hunter B. began their career in 2021 as a Web Developer for Spigot, Inc. and then became a Web Developer/Ad Design Intern. In this role, Hunter B. helped facilitate a brand overhaul for the company browser, Wave, and worked with both Browser Team and Extensions to improve user acquisition for the company’s numerous sub-brands. The job duties of the role included creating and testing landing pages/stylized ads (both static HTML ads and responsive ads created in Google Web Designer) with the sole aim of driving up conversions.

Also in 2021, Hunter B. began working as a UG Lab Assistant for Florida Gulf Coast University U.A. Whitaker College of Engineering. In this role, Hunter B. worked with the FGCU Observatory to develop a brand identity for the smallsat MAGIC (logo, two-page fact sheet) and overhaul the existing brands of both FGCU Stellar Research (website redesign, logo) and GEMS - Girls in Engineering, Math, and Science (logo). Hunter B. also utilized Python and Matlab to generate graphs to visualize raw data.

Hunter B. began their educational journey in 2012, obtaining a Microsoft Office Specialist certification in PowerPoint 2010 from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in November. Hunter then obtained Microsoft Office Specialist certifications in Word 2010 and Outlook 2010 in February and April 2013, respectively. In May 2014, they earned a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate certification from Dassault Systèmes. Hunter also earned Adobe Certified Associate certifications in Visual Communication Using Adobe Photoshop CS6 and Web Communication Using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in February and August 2014, respectively. From 2015 to 2019, Hunter B. attended Florida Gulf Coast University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering. In 2020, they returned to Florida Gulf Coast University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Design, which is expected to be completed in 2022. In February 2022, Hunter B. also obtained a Google Ads Display Certification from Google.
