Clinical Lead at Spill

Eva Popova has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health counseling and therapy. Eva is currently working at Spill as a Clinical Lead, starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at a Private Practice in Mental Health Counseling, starting in July 2022, where they served as a Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Mental Health Service Consultant, and Trainer. Eva also worked at IPRS Health from November 2022 to February 2023, initially as a Mental Health Integration Project Manager and then as an IAPT Service Lead. From March 2019 to July 2022, Eva served as a Service Manager (Counseling and Therapy) at 42nd Street Charity. Eva co-founded and worked as a Social Value Consultant at Plan Bx from February 2020 to April 2021. Previously, Eva held positions at gaddum as a Therapy Services Manager and Therapy Services Team Leader from March 2018 to March 2019 and September 2017 to March 2018, respectively. Eva also served as a Panel Member and Homelessness Volunteer at SHARE from January 2017 to October 2017 and January 2016 to January 2017, respectively. Eva's work experience also includes roles at the University of Chester, where they worked as an Associate Counselor from December 2016 to July 2017 and as a Student Support Coordinator from September 2016 to July 2017. Additionally, they organized the Chester Picnic for Peace in 2016 and worked as an Administrator (Finance) at the University of Chester from May 2014 to October 2015.

Eva Popova's education history is as follows:

Eva attended the University of Central Lancashire from 2021 to 2023, where they pursued a field of study in PCE Counselling for Depression. Eva also studied Strategic Management and Leadership at the Chartered Management Institute from 2021 to 2023, earning a PG Diploma in the field.

Prior to that, Eva completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2013 to 2016. Eva also obtained a Diploma in Counseling and Communication from SACAP (The South African College of Applied Psychology) from 2011 to 2013.

Furthermore, Eva received a Certificate in Addiction Counseling from INTEC Education College in 2010-2011.

In addition to their formal education, Eva obtained various certifications. Eva completed the Social Value and SROI Accredited Practitioner Training from Social Value UK in September 2019. In November 2018, they obtained the PRINCE2 Foundation and PRINCE2 Practitioner certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In the same year, they also completed Change Management training from Acas and obtained the BPS Approved supervision skills training from the British Psychological Society - South West Branch.

Furthermore, Eva obtained the Social Work Placement On-Site supervisor certification from The University of Salford in January 2018. Eva also completed the ECDL (European Computer Driving License) from the University of Chester in July 2017. In June 2017, they completed ASIST (Applied suicide intervention skills training) from PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide. Eva also obtained the E2E Level 1 Assessor and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certifications from North of England Excellence in May 2017. Additionally, they completed the Mental Health First Aid in HE (Higher Education) training from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in the same month.

Finally, Eva obtained the Reg. MBACP (Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) certification from BACP in January 2014.
