Sophia Hines

Sophia Hines, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC, specializing in corporate law and intellectual property law since August 2023. Previously, Sophia served as a 3L Graduate Student at American University Washington College of Law, holding leadership roles in the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and the Intellectual Property Law Society. Experience includes internships at Edell, Shapiro & Finnan and Spilman Thomas & Battle, as well as a junior staff position with the American University Business Law Review and a judicial internship with the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court. Prior to law school, Sophia held various roles including Compliance Coordinator at Thomas Jefferson University and Office Coordinator at Powerback Rehabilitation Center, along with experience in hospitality and grassroots organizing. Sophia holds a Doctor of Law from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University.
