Dr Matthew Thompson

Dr. Matthew Thompson is a seasoned professional in the field of journalism and literary writing, currently serving as Senior Editor at SPIN since November 2022, with a focus on impactful editorial work and feature writing. An accomplished author, Dr. Thompson has published three notable works of literary journalism, including "MAYHEM" and "Running with the Blood God." Their extensive experience includes roles such as manuscript editor at Pan Macmillan Australia, course convenor for graduate journalism courses at UNSW, and lecturer in journalism at multiple institutions, including the University of the South Pacific and the University of Newcastle.
