Jeremy Squires

Jeremy Squires is an experienced technical director in the field of lighting and rendering, currently serving as Supervising Lighting & Rendering TD at SPIN VFX since June 2020. Prior roles include Lighting Lead at Mill Film and Senior Lighting and Compositing at Weta Digital. Squires has held significant positions at several notable studios, including Redrover Inc. as Overseas Lighting Supervisor for "The Nut Job 2," Lead Lighter at ToonBox Entertainment, and Lead Lighter at Framestore, contributing to projects such as "Winter's Tale" and "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty." Additional experience includes key roles in major films at Dr. D Studios, ImageMovers Digital, DreamWorks Animation, and Sony Pictures Imageworks, where Squires contributed to critically acclaimed projects like "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" and "How to Train Your Dragon." Squires holds an MS in Computer/Software Engineering and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.
