Spinelli Kilcollin

Spinelli Kilcollin is a luxury jewelry collection designed by Dwyer Kilcollin and Yves Spinelli. Dwyer Kilcollin was born in Chicago, and she is a contemporary artist with an MFA from the USC Roski School. Dwyer’s work as a sculptor examines the relationship between classical and modern, and explores unexpected unions of materials, which influence her process as the Creative Director for Spinell Kilcollin. Born and raised in Honolulu, Yves Spinelli was immersed in fashion from an early age, growing up in his parents upscale beauty salon Bottega Antoine. Moving to Los Angeles in 1997, Yves began a career in luxury fashion at world-renowned boutique Maxfield, where he stayed for 12 years. In 2009, the duo set out to create jewelry which was strident and architectural, yet functional and clean. Making personal pieces for themselves quickly turned into taking orders for private clients, and in 2010 they debuted their signature interlocking Galaxy Rings at Maxfield. Spinelli Kilcollin is now available in boutiques across North America and Europe. The Spinelli Kilcollin collection is a union of art and fashion. The aesthetic emerges from the language of minimalism, while constantly challenging that categorization with bold patterns, or a flurry of diamonds. The collection continues to focus on geometric forms while exploring movement, unexpected combinations of materials, and the introduction of precious stones to add complexity to a simple shape. Spinelli Kilcollin adheres to high standards of quality and production. Each piece is unique, and hand-made in Los Angeles by skilled artisans and local artists, constructed from luxurious materials including pearls, fine silks and leathers, precious metals, diamonds and semi-precious stones. We use only conflict-free diamonds from suppliers who enforce the standards established by the Kimberly Process in 2000.
