Jean-Baptiste Rougeot has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Jean-Baptiste began their career in 2002 as a Seller at Haagen Dazs, where they worked as a student job. In 2007, they joined Subsea 7 as a Project Engineer in the Rigid Pipeline Department, where they were responsible for designing and analyzing the installation of rigid pipelines for various projects and tenders. Jean-Baptiste later took on roles as a Senior Engineer and Lead Engineer within the same department, managing teams and overseeing multiple aspects of pipeline design and installation analysis. In 2018, Jean-Baptiste became the Engineering Manager - Business Improvement Responsible at Subsea 7, where they focused on improving processes and driving efficiency. Jean-Baptiste also held the role of Engineering Discipline Manager, leading a team of engineers and overseeing recruitment, career development, and performance reviews. In 2019, they were promoted to Engineering Manager - Digital Solution, responsible for managing digital solutions and driving innovation within the company. Most recently, Jean-Baptiste joined Spinergie in 2021 as an Offshore Energy Analyst Manager.

Jean-Baptiste Rougeot started their education at Saint Jean-Hulst in 1999 and completed their Baccalauréat scientifique degree in 2002. Jean-Baptiste then attended UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines from 2002 to 2004, where they earned their DEUG Sciences de la Matière degree in Sciences physiques. From 2004 to 2007, Jean-Baptiste studied at SeaTech Ecole d'ingénieurs, specializing in Option Marine, and obtained their Diplôme d'ingénieur. In 2007, they briefly attended Mines Paris, where they pursued a License degree in Modelling and Numeric Mechanics.
