Thomas Himblot

Thomas Himblot has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Thomas is currently working as a Software Engineer at Spinergie since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Team Lead Software Engineer at uptime.ac from January 2021 to November 2022. Thomas also held the role of Software Engineer at uptime.ac from September 2018 to January 2021.

Thomas had prior experience as a Software Engineer at Saint-Gobain Distribution Bâtiment France where they built web applications for managing sales, supplier purchases, and stocks internationally. Thomas worked on technologies like TypeScript, Angular 5, Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Data, MongoDB, and SAP. Thomas'sresponsibilities included frontend development in collaboration with UX/UI designers, implementing a microservice architecture interfaced with SAP solutions and a MongoDB database, and conducting unit tests with Karma/Jasmine and jUnit/Mockito.

Before that, Thomas worked as a Software Engineer Consultant at CAPFI, where they built a twitter-like mobile application called "Tribs" for business teams, along with other projects for Bpifrance and Saint-Gobain. Thomas used AngularJS, Ionic, and NodeJS for the mobile application, and worked as a full stack JS/Java developer.

Thomas also worked as a Software Engineer at Bpifrance, where they developed extranets for Bpifrance customers and an online banking platform. Thomas used technologies like TypeScript, AngularJS, Java EE, Maven, Websphere, DB2, and Oracle. Thomas served as the technical referent for Angular app modernizations and developed Java REST services and business layers.

Thomas started their career as a Mobile Developer (Angular/NodeJS) at Lagardère and as a Web Developer at LEADSHARE. Thomas also briefly worked as a Software Developer Junior at PROGIMOD.

Thomas Himblot attended Université Paris Dauphine - PSL from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Master's degree in MIAGE (Méthodes informatiques appliquées à la gestion des entreprises). Prior to that, they studied at Université Paris 13 from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a DUT degree in Informatique with a specialization in Génie logiciel. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Stanford University in October 2017.
