Kelly Barbieri has extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Kelly began their career at United States Surgical Corporation in 1992 as a Complaint Investigator and later worked as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at U.S. Surgical Corporation from 1994 to 1999. In 2000, they joined Surgical Dynamics Div of US Surgical as a Manager in Special Instruments R&D, where they were responsible for project management, clinical trial support, and training on new product launches. From 2002 to 2010, they served as a Quality System Manager at Spine Wave, Inc., overseeing Quality Systems and regulatory filings. Kelly then advanced to the role of Director of Quality from 2010 to 2014, and subsequently became a Senior Director of Quality & Regulatory, where they directed Quality Systems and managed regulatory filings to FDA and other agencies.
Kelly Barbieri has a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Connecticut, which they obtained from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Vanderbilt University from 1986 to 1988, studying Biology.
