Previously, Ricardo held the position of Device Engineer on 22FDX technology at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, where contributions were made to the development of RF devices. Ricardo's extensive background includes a long tenure at CEA as both Group Manager, leading MRAM R&D, and as a Senior Research Scientist focused on thermally assisted non-volatile magnetic memory. Prior to these roles, a postdoctoral fellowship at SPINTEC involved research on current-induced switching for MRAM applications, under the supervision of Dr. Bernard Dieny. Additional experience includes a research scholarship at INESC-MN, fabrication of spin-dependent tunnel junctions, and an Erasmus scholarship at the Helmholtz-Institut für Strahlen- und Kernphysik.
