Sean Sethi

Research Engineer at SpinTech Imaging

Sean Sethi has a diverse work experience in the field of MRI imaging and research. Sean is currently working as a Research Assistant at Wayne State University since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Engineer at SpinTech Imaging from January 2019. In this role, they were involved in the development of MRI software, including software requirements, product testing, software validation for FDA approval, and maintenance of MR image database. Sean also performed image processing and analysis, implemented MRI protocols with collaborators, and prepared conference abstracts and journal manuscripts.

From 2010, Sean worked at Magnetic Resonance Innovations, Inc. as a Research and MRI Image Processing professional. Their responsibilities included technical report writing, processing and reviewing MRI data for patients with Multiple Sclerosis and Traumatic Brain Injury. Sean managed two data processing teams and published research papers and presented at scientific conferences.

In 2017, Sean worked as a Researcher at The MRI Institute for Biomedical Research.

Sean Sethi earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Finance from Michigan State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Sean then pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Wayne State University from 2007 to 2010.
