Donny Landis has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and finance industries. In 2020, they began working as a Software Engineer at Spinwheel, developing student loan and consumer debt products. Donny also began attending Flatiron School as a Software Engineering Student. In 2018, they founded and became the CEO of Elisia, Inc., a company that helped those who had lost a loved one by using tech to bring transparency to the $20bn funeral industry. In 2017, they worked as an Independent Consultant. From 2012 to 2010, they worked as a Research Analyst and Analyst at Candlewood Investment Group, LP and Chatham Asset Management, respectively.

Donny Landis' education history begins with attending Greenwich High School and The Taft School. Donny then attended the University of Miami Herbert Business School from 2006 to 2010, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in English and Finance. In 2020, they attended the Flatiron School to pursue a degree in Computer Software Engineering.
