Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Systems Analyst to support our team in conducting research, analyzing technology requirements and capabilities, and developing strategies for the overall effectiveness of ballistic missile technology program execution and planning. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of demonstrated relevant experience in nuclear weapons, SSBNs, ICBMs, or nuclear air-delivered platforms.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis of technology requirements and capabilities of current and future strategic systems, rocket motors, guidance systems, nuclear and conventional warheads, and radiation hardened electronic parts. Provide subject matter expertise in Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) and Airborne Launch Control System (ALCS) recapitalization efforts, including knowledge of the associated Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capabilities Development Document (CDD), Capabilities Production Document (CPD), Weapon System Specification, and Security Classification Guide. Develop strategies for the overall effectiveness of ballistic missile technology program execution and planning. Support Air Force Global Strike Command Operational Effectiveness Reports and processes, Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center Risk Management processes and reports, ICBM Operational Test process, and related efforts. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure that program requirements are effectively integrated into technical solutions and acquisition strategies. Prepare reports and presentations that clearly communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences, including senior leaders and decision-makers. Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 years of demonstrated relevant experience in nuclear weapons, SSBNs, ICBMs, or nuclear air-delivered platforms. Knowledge and experience with Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) and Airborne Launch Control System (ALCS) recapitalization efforts. Knowledge and experience with Air Force Global Strike Command Operational Effectiveness Reports and processes, Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center Risk Management processes and reports, ICBM Operational Test process, and related efforts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and analysis independently and collaboratively. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
