Gabe Roberts

Gabe Roberts is currently the Director at Spiras Health. Prior to this, Gabe was with ReVIDA Recovery Centers, LLC. Gabe has also held positions at Spiras Health, Sellers Dorsey, CareBridge, and QuickVisit Urgent Care.

Gabe's most recent position was as the CEO of TennCare, the Medicaid program for the state of Tennessee. In this role, Gabe was responsible for developing and operating within a $12 billion annual budget, leading 1,200 employees and 800 contractors. Gabe was successful in reducing the waiting list for intellectual and developmental disabilities by 95% in just one year. Gabe was also elected by Medicaid Directors in other states to serve on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Medicaid Directors.

Gabe Roberts attended the University of Mississippi for their undergraduate degree, where they studied accountancy and business administration with a focus in economics. Gabe graduated from the Honors College and then went on to Vanderbilt University Law School to earn their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. After law school, Gabe Roberts became certified as an attorney by the State of Tennessee and also became a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) through the Mississippi State Board of Accountancy. In addition, they have also been certified as a Fellow by the Nashville Health Care Council and as a Medicaid Leadership Institute Fellow by the Center for Health Care Strategies, Inc.
