Chantal Hannell has a diverse work experience that spans across different industries. In their most recent role as the Head of IT Strategy, Planning & Governance at Spirax Sarco, they are responsible for managing the IT strategy and governance of the company. Prior to that, they worked as the Global Head of IT Service & Operations at LRQA, where they successfully led the IT divestment from Lloyds Register and implemented various IT systems and applications. Chantal also served as the Head of Service Delivery at APS Group, leading a team responsible for IT service delivery to international end users. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as the Head of Service Desk at LIMA and Service Delivery Leader at CDL Limited. Before transitioning into the IT field, Chantal ran their own events company and worked as an Events Manager at Seed Events.
Chantal Hannell earned a PGCE in Secondary Education and Teaching from The Manchester Metropolitan University in 2002-2003. Chantal obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Audio Visual Production from London Metropolitan University from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their A-Levels (4 grades A-C) at Aquinas 6th Form College from 1994 to 1996. Chantal Hannell received their GCSEs from All Hallows RC High School, completing their studies from 1986 to 1991. Additionally, they hold certifications such as SIAM Foundation from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2021 and ITIL Foundation obtained in 2018.
