Stacey May Wierzba is a seasoned public affairs professional with extensive experience in government and regulatory communications, particularly within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Public Affairs Account Director at Spire Communications since March 2020, Wierzba supports the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's Biotechnology Office. Previous positions include Director of Strategy & Outreach at Faegre Drinker and leadership roles at the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, where responsibilities encompassed public relations and outreach. Additionally, Wierzba has experience in marketing communications and laboratory operations, with a background in biology and English education from Colgate University and a master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Boston University.
