Fiona McLeman

Fiona McLeman is a highly experienced professional in the field of pathology, currently serving as the Head of Pathology Governance at Spire Healthcare Group plc since March 2017. With a background that spans over three decades, Fiona has held various positions within Spire Healthcare, including Pathology Quality Systems Manager and Pathology Manager, where responsibilities included staff and budget management as well as leading microbiology discipline groups. Prior to joining Spire, Fiona worked as a Senior Biomedical Scientist at Bupa, leading microbiology, andrology, and immunology sections, and began a career at NHS Scotland as a Biomedical Scientist in Medical Microbiology. Fiona holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from Edinburgh Napier University and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from The Royal High School.
