Martin Alley

Martin Alley is an experienced supply chain and procurement professional with a robust history in various leadership roles across prominent organizations. Currently serving as Group Supply Chain and Procurement Director at Spire Healthcare Group plc, responsibilities include Procurement, Supply Chain, Property and Engineering, Health and Safety, and decarbonisation efforts. Prior to Spire, Martin held significant positions at BMI Healthcare, including Facilities and Procurement Director, where accountability extended to Procurement, Supply Chain, and Estates for the UK's largest independent hospital group. Additional experience includes roles at EDF Energy as Head of Commercial for Smart Metering, Director of Procurement at British Gas managing a substantial budget, and various leadership positions at Alsbridge plc, Thomas Cook, GSK, Whitbread plc, and Laing Management Contracting. Martin holds an MBA with distinction in Strategic Management from the University of Bedfordshire.
