Sian Powell

Sian Powell currently serves as the Deputy Director of Clinical Services and Quality Governance Manager at Spire Healthcare Group plc, a position held since July 2002. The role encompasses management of a comprehensive seven-day Physiotherapy service across multiple specialties, along with various leadership and governance positions within the organization. Sian achieved recognition as a Laing Buisson finalist in 2017 for contributions to an innovative orthopaedic recovery pathway. Previous experience includes serving as the Independent Hospitals Representative on the national board of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, and acting as the National Physiotherapist for the Welsh Women’s Rugby Team. Sian's foundation in physiotherapy was established with a Bachelor of Science with honors from Cardiff University, followed by significant roles in various health boards where expertise in cardiac rehabilitation, inequalities in health, and trauma and orthopaedics was developed.
