Sophie Ure Martin

Sophie Ure Martin's work experience begins in 1996 as a Conference Manager at Meeting Makers. From 1999 to 2004, they worked at the Audit Commission, first as an Events Manager and then as a Senior Communications Account Manager. Sophie then joined the Healthcare Commission in 2004 as an External Relations Manager. In 2006, they became a Regional Communications Manager at the same company. From 2009 to 2022, Sophie worked at the Care Quality Commission, holding various roles including Regional Communications Manager, Communications Manager for Chief Executive and Chair, Speechwriter, and Planning, Events and Speechwriting Manager. Sophie'smost recent position is as the Head of Corporate Communications at Spire Healthcare Group plc, starting in 2022.

Sophie Ure Martin completed their Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Marketing and Hotel Management from the University of Strathclyde from 1991 to 1995. Sophie then pursued a Diploma in PR from CIPR Qualifications in 2004-2005. Later, they obtained their MA degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of York, studying from 2005 to 2010.
