Gregory Staton

Gregory Staton is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director of the AGC at Spire since November 2022, overseeing legal functions related to marketing and trading, midstream asset support, M&A, and regulatory compliance for FERC and CFTC, while also contributing to Spire's sustainability initiatives. Prior to this role, Gregory held significant positions at DTE Energy Trading, Inc. from January 2008 to July 2021, including Vice President responsible for Environmental Commodities Trading and corporate services. Additional experience includes serving as General Counsel and Vice President of Corporate Services at NV Energy in 2007, and as Counsel at Dominion from 2002 to 2007.
