Scott Weitzel

Scott Weitzel currently serves as Vice President of Regulatory and Governmental Affairs at Spire, a position held since August 2016, where responsibilities include managing regulatory activities before the Missouri Public Service Commission for two regulated operating units. Prior roles at Spire include Managing Director and Director of Regulatory & Legislative Affairs, along with a managerial position focused on tariffs and rate administration. Before joining Spire, Scott spent a decade at Ameren in various capacities, including Gas Business Development and Lead Gas Supply Executive, and began his career at CenterPoint Energy as a Marketing Representative/Analyst. Scott holds an MBA from Webster University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Consumer Affairs and Business from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
