Jesse Unruh

Jesse Unruh has held a variety of positions in the legal field since 2005. From 2005 to 2009, they worked as a Systems Analyst at CBLPath, where they wrote software documentation, tested software, and conducted software development and integration research. From 2009 to 2010, they were an Extern for the Honorable Timothy J. Corrigan at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where they conducted legal research and assisted the Judge in determining proper legal basis and precedent to rule on various motions. From 2010 to 2011, they were an Associate Attorney at Tew Cardenas LLP, where they drafted motions and pleadings for state and federal court and composed memoranda on civil law topics. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Associate Attorney at Jackson Lewis P.C., where they focused on representing employers in workplace law matters. From 2013 to 2018, they were a Term Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (Orlando Division), where they analyzed legal pleadings, conferred with the Judge, and drafted orders on substantive motions. Jesse is currently a Founding Partner at Spire Law (formerly Jet. Law), where they aggressively defend employers against employee lawsuits, using data scientists to rapidly find the winning arguments and predict the effort needed for each case.

Jesse Unruh's education history includes attending Y Combinator for the Winter 2019 Batch in Entrepreneurship, Florida State University College of Law for a Doctor of Law (J.D.), University of Bristol for a Masters of Arts in Philosophy, Flagler College for a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy/Religion, and High School from 1996-2000.
