Thomas Carroll

Thomas Carroll is a Senior GNC Engineer at Spire, where Thomas focuses on providing modern control design for fine steering systems. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a Senior Customer Success Engineer at MathWorks, encouraging computational thinking in further education. Previously, at Clyde Space Ltd, Thomas held various leadership positions managing Attitude Determination and Control systems, as well as leading a Digital Systems team. Thomas also worked at Thales as a Design Thinking Facilitator and Stabilisation and Control Engineer, where Thomas designed and characterised servo based control systems. Thomas holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.
