Robert Keast has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Robert started their career at Nortel Networks as an Equipment Technician from August 2000 to August 2001. Robert then joined Spirent Communications in November 2001 as a Support Engineer and held various roles including Senior Support Engineer, Support & Education Services Manager, Senior Services Manager, Director Support Services, and most recently, Director Product Development since September 2019.
Robert Keast has a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Leadership & Management from the University of Plymouth, which they obtained between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bsc in Electronic and Communication Engineering from the same university in 1999-2000. Robert also holds a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Engineering (Electronics) from South Devon Technical College (1997-1999) and a BTEC National Diploma in Engineering from the same college (1995-1997). Keast completed their secondary education at Paignton Community College, where they obtained their GCSEs between 1990 and 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have certifications as a Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI) from the Chartered Management Institute (obtained in 2021), an Associate Fellow (AFRIN) from the Royal Institute of Navigation (obtained in 2019), and as a Words that change minds - LAB Profile Practitioner and Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming from Brilliant Minds (Training & Development) Ltd (both obtained in 2019). Robert also holds a Certified Support Manager certification from SCP, obtained in 2010.
