Alireza Farmad

Senior Software Developer at Spireon

Alireza Farmad has extensive experience in the software development field. Alireza began their career at Procom Technology in 1997, where they worked as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they played a key role in developing an Internet accounting system under Linux and also worked on a nationwide project for health care smart cards. Alireza was responsible for developing both the front office and back office of the project, as well as coding for the card reader designed for the project.

In 2004, Alireza joined Sun Microsystems as a Software Engineer, where they continued to focus on test automation and led the development team for testing. Alireza developed a test suite framework for the organization and was involved in testing throughout the entire company.

In 2009, Alireza moved on to Oracle Corporation as a Principle Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for test automation development and led the development team for automating tests for the Windows interoperability module in the Solaris operating system. Alireza also built a framework for various test suites used within the organization and contributed to the NAS product.

Most recently, Alireza joined Spireon in 2017 as a Senior Software Developer, where they continue to apply their expertise in software development.

Alireza Farmad pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology, graduating in 1995. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Tehran, where they completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Architecture between 1995 and 1997.
