Field CTO at Spirion

Robert Server has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in the technology industry. Robert began their career at the University of South Florida in 1998, where they served as a Senior Computer Support Specialist, managing all aspects of the local network and enforcing information security practices. Robert then worked at Intermedia Communications as a Systems Engineer, maintaining and monitoring a Windows NT domain. At Oscher Consulting, they served as a Technology Services Consultant, managing a local network and analyzing computer assets obtained through bankruptcy litigation.

In 2002, Robert joined the University of South Florida again, this time as a Network Server and Support Specialist. In this role, they implemented and managed software solutions within the division, such as scheduling and data tracking software. Robert then worked at the Moffitt Cancer Center as a Systems Analyst, maintaining a high-availability virtualized SAML portal architecture.

Robert joined Digital Hands in 2012 as an End User Support Technician, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 phone and remote support to end users. Robert used various technologies such as Kaseya management software and Salesforce CRM.

In 2013, they joined Spirion as a Senior Solution Engineer, acting as the technical bridge between sales executives and pre-sales customers. Robert also served as a Manager of Solution Engineering, managing a team of dispersed Solution Engineers and driving new development and features.

From 2019 to 2021, Robert worked as a Product Manager at Spirion and then as the Director of Product Marketing. In their most recent position at Spirion as the Field CTO, they provided data security subject matter expertise and executed field-level go-to-market plans. Robert also acted as the "Voice of the Customer" to the Product team and ensured technical excellence throughout the pre-sales process.

Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated technical expertise, team management skills, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Robert Server completed their undergraduate education at the University of South Florida, where they obtained a degree in Management Information Systems. This education spanned from 1990 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Management Information Systems at the same institution, which they completed between 1997 and 1998.
