Daniel Leal

Daniel Leal is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sectors. Currently serving as Subsystems Design & Integration Engineer III at Spirit AeroSystems since November 2021, Daniel supports Department of Defense initiatives requiring classified work. Prior to this role, Daniel was a Test Engineer at Excel Industries Inc. from October 2016 to December 2021, leading the design and implementation of automated tests for lawnmowers and utility vehicles. Earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Omni Aerospace from February 2013 to September 2016, where responsibilities encompassed project management, engineering design, prototype testing, and training personnel. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wichita State University.
