Larry Mortensen

Larry Mortensen, PMP has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to business development, strategy, and project management. Currently, they serve as the Director of Business Development at Spirit AeroSystems. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Manager of Strategy & Business Development at Northrop Grumman from 2018 to 2022. Larry also held the position of Director of Strategy and Business Development/Capture Operations at Orbital ATK from 2009 to 2018. Additionally, they have held managerial and executive positions at Space Dynamics Laboratory, Inland Northwest Space Alliance, INNOLOG, Innovative Systems Architect, Inc., and BDM International. Larry Mortensen's work experience spans across different industries including aerospace, defense, and consulting.

Larry Mortensen, PMP holds a BA degree in Marketing from the Utah State University - Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. Larry also pursued studies in Organizational Communication, General at Utah State University. Additionally, they obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Larry Mortensen further enhanced their qualifications by completing the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2012 and the APMP - Foundation Level certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) in 2010.
