Maurice Harris

Maurice Harris has a diverse and extensive work experience in operations management and leadership roles. Maurice is currently the Director of Operations at Spirit AeroSystems, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to that, Maurice worked as an Operations Management Leadership at Bridging Gaps from October 2019 to September 2020.

From 2014 to 2018, Maurice served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager at Meggitt, where they were responsible for a turnaround operation and implemented changes that led to overall improvements in the business. Before that, they were the General Manager at Ducommun from 2012 to 2014, where they achieved significant improvements in various areas of the business, such as on-time delivery, quality compliance, safety, and operational excellence.

Maurice also held leadership positions at Meggitt Pacific Scientific HTL as Plant Manager in 2011, Eaton Aerospace as Plant Manager from 2004 to 2011, Crane Aerospace & Electronics as the Director of Operations from 2000 to 2004, and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as Manager of Manufacturing Operations from 1996 to 1999.

Throughout their career, Maurice has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, drive positive change, and deliver results in various manufacturing environments. Maurice is known for their strategic planning, emphasis on team dynamics and inclusion, and their passion for inspiring creative solutions to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.

Maurice Harris holds a Masters degree in Business Administration & International Marketing from the University of La Verne.
