Paddy Mallon Fraes C.eng.

Paddy Mallon FRAeS C.Eng. currently serves as Chief Technologist for European Space and Defence at Spirit AeroSystems, focusing on Uncrewed Systems with interests in Hypersonics and Next Generation Aircraft since April 2022. Prior to this role, Paddy spent over 35 years at Thales, initially as Chief Technologist and Design Authority overseeing Subsonic to Hypersonic Projects, and later as Product Line Manager responsible for the development and strategic direction of a key product line. Paddy holds degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Aeronautical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
