Juan Martin-Lopez is a highly skilled research chemist with extensive experience in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. Currently employed at Spirochem since September 2022, Juan focuses on the synthesis of pharmacologically active molecules and process chemistry. Prior to this, Juan completed a PhD in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Barcelona, where research centered on sEH inhibitors and anti-viral compounds. Previous positions included research associate roles at Eurofins Villapharma and product development at Anastorebio, alongside earlier experiences in neuropharmacology and organic catalysis research. Juan has demonstrated a strong ability in routine analysis and a deep understanding of pharmacological characterizations throughout various roles.
