Grace is passionate about advancing racial, economic and social justice. Her goal is to help people and believes addressing public policy related problems is the best way for her to achieve that goal. She believes in the power of collectivism, education and social change and is beyond excited to be a part of a communications firm that builds an equitable future for everyone. At Spitfire, Grace conducts research, provides media support and assists with strategic communication. She cares about a variety of societal concerns and looks forward to working across issue areas at the firm.
Grace first became interested in politics while volunteering for Elizabeth Warren’s 2020 Presidential Campaign. She took a liking to public policy and joined campaigns for raising the minimum wage, paid family and medical leave, preventing harmful corridors from being built to preserve forests, and gained further experience in local, state and federal elections. She also served in the AmeriCorps where she boosted free summer meals participation by creating and implementing an incentive program. However, what Grace takes pride in the most, is her work with reproductive rights as a public affairs intern with Planned Parenthood New Hampshire Action Fund. It was through this internship that Grace discovered her devotion to upholding the fundamental right to abortion and she looks forward to using the writing, communications and media skills she gained from this experience.
