Nick Cordaro

Nick Cordaro has a diverse and extensive work experience in the orthopedic and medical device industry. Nick has served as the President of SpiTrex Orthopedics since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of CEO at Watershed Idea Foundry from 2017 to 2023. Nick also founded and served as the President of Additive Innovations, LLC from 2014 to 2017, specializing in additive manufacturing for medical device commercialization.

Nick Cordaro has also been involved in academia, working as a Guest Lecturer at The University of Texas at El Paso in 2016, teaching a senior design course on orthopedic medical device design. Nick has also held leadership positions in various companies, including Director of Engineering at Integra LifeSciences, Spine from 2011 to 2014, and Group Director of Engineering at SeaSpine Inc from 2002 to 2011.

Nick Cordaro started their career as a Project Engineer at Alphatec Mfg in 2001, where they gained experience in various product lines, and as a Product Development Engineer at Biomet Inc from 2000 to 2001, focusing on shoulder arthroplasty systems.

Throughout their career, Nick Cordaro has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and expertise in product development and commercialization in the medical device industry.

Nick Cordaro earned their B.A in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University. Nick then went on to obtain an M.S in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arizona, completing their studies from 1997 to 2000.
