Sarah Purtell

Sarah Purtell is an experienced professional in the medical and quality assurance fields, currently serving as Lab Director at SPL since November 2024 and as a member of Vistage Worldwide, Inc. since March 2020. Prior to this, Sarah held various leadership roles at Suburban Testing Labs from September 2017 to August 2025, including Vice President of Operations and Director of Operational Excellence. At TELA Bio from December 2013 to September 2017, Sarah developed a compliant receipt and inspection system for raw materials and finished goods. Earlier experience includes positions at Kensey Nash Corporation and Teleflex Medical, where Sarah focused on research and testing of medical devices. Sarah's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Life Science from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Berks, an Associate's Degree in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology from Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, and another Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Berks.
