Jay Bhattacharyya

Jay Bhattacharyya has over 30 years of work experience, starting their career as an Engineer at HINDUSTAN MOTORS LTD and later working as an Assistant Manager at jessop & co.ltd. Jay then moved into the field of ERP consulting, with roles at Millenium Information System Private Limited and NIIT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. During this time, they participated in Oracle EBS implementations and post-implementation support for various organizations. Jay also contributed to the enhancement and support of Oracle EBS for Hawthorne Savings and INDAL, as well as developed a module for a Hospital Management System application.

Jay Bhattacharyya then joined Jupiter Consulting Services where they served as a Senior Consultant, focusing on the development and implementation of Oracle EBS solutions for Merrill Lynch and DANKA. Jay continued their career at TriNet as a Project Lead, where they implemented the Oracle Cash Management module and developed interfaces for Oracle Payroll to Oracle AP & AR.

In 2003, Jay Bhattacharyya joined Oracle as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for global implementation, production support, and enhancement development for various modules within Oracle Procurement and Oracle Payables & iExpense. Jay worked as a Divisional Application Owner for the EMEA region and implemented business process improvements in the Procure-to-Pay area.

Jay Bhattacharyya then transitioned to Noetix Corporation, starting as a Consulting Manager and later becoming an Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering. During their tenure at Noetix, they managed teams involved in the development, implementation, and support of Operational BI and Packaged Analytics products/solutions. Jay also played an integral role in the acquisition of Noetix and the corresponding restructuring.

After their time at Noetix, Jay Bhattacharyya joined Magnitude Software as a Director of Engineering and later as a Senior Director, Application Analytics. At Magnitude Software, they led teams engaged in the architecture, design, and development of BI and Analytics products/solutions on ERP/CRM systems such as Oracle EBS, JD Edwards, and Salesforce. Jay also played a key role in taking a new solution, for integrating SAP S/4HANA with Oracle, MS, and other ERPs, from lab to market.

Most recently, Jay Bhattacharyya has joined SplashBI On-Demand Reporting and BI as a Senior Director, Application Analytics.

Jay Bhattacharyya obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) with a specialization in Finance & Systems from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, from 1995 to 1998. Jay also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, completed from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, Jay has additional certifications in Learning Python, Amazon Web Services: Data Services, and Oracle Database 12c: Advanced SQL from LinkedIn.
